Notes: A lovely image by Gihachiro Okuyama depicting the Yagiri Ferry - the last remaining traditional ferry crossing in Tokyo which has served to ferry patrons between the banks of Shibamata & Shimoyakiri since the early Edo period (1603-1868). We can clearly mark the signpost noting: “矢切の渡し” (Yagiri no Watashi). *Official title unknown.
