Notes: A fantastic, wonderful piece. Was 1976 a year where Maki focused more on larger designs? (Approx 65cm x 35cm paper sheets?). A lovely piece of work - fabulous embossing & texture, a perfectly balanced compositional “splash”, & late example where Maki was still working with Kanji forms.
