Notes: Ay-O shares that during his childhood, he associated space creatures with Mars. Incorporating Martians into his artworks as representatives of space, together with observations of Jellyfish; Ay-O first explored this theme as an evolution of his Mr. & Mrs. Rainbow characters, publishing “Well, Well, Well” (Raisonne #274.) in 1974.
